Prof. Rokuya Tanikawa, Dr. Felix Göhre, Dr. Jiří Fiedler, Dr. Dariusz Szarek

20.11.2021 10:00-12:00am CEST (5:00-7:00pm JST), ZOOM Platform

Microsurgery is essential for dealing with the different aspects of lesions of the nervous system. Through continuous professional development by microsurgeons, new methods have been introduced, procedures have become more refined and skills have been improved, and thus, the clinical results are more predictable. New technology, in particular, better visualisation in situ through magnification and improved resolution of anatomical structures, has made it possible for surgeons to utilise fully their anatomical knowledge and surgical expertise in microneurosurgical procedures.

We are pleased to invite you to our Webinar on the Basic Microsurgical Approach and Vascular Reconstruction for Intracranial Complex Lesions. The basic approach to aneurysms, skull base surgery and cerebral revascularisation will be presented by the main speaker, Prof. Rokuya Tanikawa
/ Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, Stroke Center, Sapporo Teishinkai Hospital, Sapporo, Japan.

Fellow neurosurgeons will share their experience and expertise in their fields:
• Microsurgery applied to intracranial aneurysms via lateral supraorbital approach – Dr. Felix Göhre
/ Adjunct Professor of Neurosurgery, University of Helsinki; Department of Neurosurgery, Stroke Center, BG Hospital Bergmannstrost Halle, Germany
• Acute ischaemic stroke – Dr. Jiří Fiedler
/ Department of Neurosurgery, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Hospital České Budějovice, Budweis, Czech Republic
• Reconstruction / augmentation with by-pass surgery of brain vascular lesions – Dr. Dariusz Szarek
/ Department of Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine Centre, Lower Silesian Specialist Hospital, Wrocław, Poland

We look forward to welcoming you to the upcoming Webinar.
